300-WORD BIO

Brantley Brumley II is Chief AI Officer at the General AI Proficiency Institute (GenAIPI, genaipi.org) and the author of Conducting the Code, the non-coder's guide to building real software with AI. At GenAIPI he helps organizations move beyond AI curiosity and into real, working AI systems. He practices what he teaches: he created Jarvis, GenAIPI's internal AI agent connected to real business systems, and uses AI every day as a strategic collaborator to pressure-test ideas and build fast.

His expertise comes from building, not theory. Brantley has built and shipped mobile apps and games, and he founded MVP Launcher to help entrepreneurs turn ideas into working software. In Conducting the Code he argues that the important question is no longer "Can I write the code?" but "Can I clearly explain what needs to exist, guide the AI, test what gets built, and keep improving?" The book gives non-coders a repeatable seven-step path from "I wish this existed" to a first working version.

Brantley speaks and teaches for audiences that need AI to work on Monday morning. He presented The AI Transformation Playbook at the AGC Utah Construction Technology Summit, led an AI Basics training for all Midvale City employees, and taught GenAIPI's live build cohorts. He has been a guest on the BYU Tech Transfer podcast ("Don't Vibe Code Blind") and the Beyond Impact podcast, and presented at the Master Claw 26 meetup. He also mentors University of Utah students through the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute's Hours with Experts program and judges student and community hackathons, including Lassonde DevDay and Hack for Humanity: Salt Lake City.

His talks are practical, demo-driven, and tailored to the room, whether the audience is city staff, construction executives, educators, students, or founders, and always end with a clear next step. Brantley is based in Eagle Mountain, Utah.
